Create a fillable PDF form
Add form fields to any PDF, so people can fill it in on screen in any PDF reader, not print it out. It all happens on your device.
or drop it here
🔒 Your files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
How to make a PDF fillable
- Choose your PDF: a form you made in Word, a scan, anything. It opens in the editor at Form.
- Choose Text field, Multi-line, Checkbox or Dropdown, then drag a box where the field goes.
- Name each field, mark it required if it must be filled in, and give dropdowns their choices.
- Select Done, then save your fillable PDF.
What you get
Real PDF form fields, the kind Adobe Reader, Preview, browsers and phones all fill in. The fields can be tried straight away in the editor. To fill a form yourself, or a form that has no fields, use Fill PDF; to lock answers in once filled, flatten the form in the editor.
Private by design
StaplePDF adds the fields inside your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded.

People can sign anywhere with Sign PDF, which adds a drawn, typed or digital signature.
Can I change a field after adding it?
